Through years as an instructor and a performer, I have seen professional dancing go from being a daunting act done by the few, the proud, the experts to a popular form of fitness and socializing that has become a part of many people’s every day life.  One of the dances that has withstood the test of time and is a popular among people of all ages is Salsa.

It’s no surprise that with all the moving and shaking, Salsa works out the lower body and core muscles. Add a little bit of shoulder action, and salsa becomes a great all-around workout targeting the upper body, too. This is one hot and sultry dance that you will enjoy getting fit to. So grab your partner or dance alone and be ready to be swept away.
